Livingston Place Fitness Centre Manager
Curtiss Matson, B Sc., CSEP-CEP, CSCS, AFLCA
Curtiss is a graduate of the University of Calgary, having received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Health Physiology. He is also a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP) with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Curtiss has been with Health Systems Group for four years, conducting Personal Training, teaching classes, coordinating group exercise class programs and administering facility operations in two other HSG fitness centres in Calgary. He has returned to the Livingston Club Fitness Centre after a 6 month deployment embedded with the Canadian Forces in Afghanistan.
Curtiss’ motto is “Babysteps” and in his words: “Since returning home, I have started taking a hybrid approach to training incorporating both classic and more modern exercises and techniques, to return to a system of truly “functional” training.”
His personal interests include sports, travel and food…preferably all combined!
Ross Williams, BA, CPT
Looking for a new challenge, Ross Williams has recently joined us at Livingston Fitness Centre. Ross studied political science and history in the Maritimes before returning to Calgary in 2002, and entered the fitness biz in 2005. Holding a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) designation, he has been with Health Systems Group since that time. Ross enjoys taking a creative and sometimes unconventional approach to fitness in order to keep gym-time fun and interesting.

Fitness Centre Registration
For the mandatory orientation session, a tenant will have to contact the Livingston Fitness Centre Manager from Health Systems Group, for a one-on-one session. The 30 minute session will review the basic procedures, give an overview of the facility and equipment available as well as allowing time for questions.

Fitness Centre 2010 Spring Workout Classes
Registration for the spring 2010 workout classes will begin on Monday, April 12th at 7:00am in the Livingston Place Fitness Centre. Attached is the class schedule and the registration form. When you have chosen which classes you would like to register for, please complete the registration form. Bring the registration form along with your payment to the Fitness Centre on April 12th. If you can't make it on the 12th, please arrange for a co-worker to drop off your payment and form for you. The Livingston Place Fitness Centre accepts VISA, MasterCard, cash, debit or cheque as payment methods. Class sizes are limited, so be sure to register early!

When not working, Ross enjoys model-making, reading everything he gets his hands on, and collecting hockey pucks.
